We have officially launched!
A few weeks ago, we gathered at the beautiful Entrecôte in Melbourne to celebrate Paradoor’s big launch, surrounded by our amazing friends, family, and trusted advisors. The French-inspired venue was the perfect spot to officially launch Paradoor. As with every party, there was plenty of champagne, fresh oysters, and delicious French-inspired canapés.
Our co-founders, Oliver Howard and Tom Ormerod, took the stage to give a warm welcome to everyone. They shared a little bit about Paradoor’s journey and how it all started with a dream to make luxury holiday home ownership more accessible for Australian families. You could really feel their excitement as they talked about what’s next for Paradoor and how we’re aiming to change the way people think about owning a second home.
Post welcome speech, we heard from one of our home owners, Lauren Staley, who is currently selling her 16 guest, rural holiday home Gabion Hill through Paradoor. Lauren had some great insights about the luxury property market and shared why she chose Paradoor to sell her property. Lauren is opting for the 'sell-down' method, which means that Lauren will retain a share in her holiday home. By selling the other 7 shares, Lauren will still have access to 44 nights per year in her property, yet releasing equity out of her holiday home. It was an interesting Q&A conversation that really showed how Paradoor makes the whole process of buying and selling high-end holiday homes accessible.
There was a real buzz in the air as we announced that Paradoor is officially live with two incredible properties—Bhava in Byron Bay and Gabion Hill in Daylesford.
By the end of the night, our guests left feeling inspired and excited about the future of luxury holiday home ownership. Paradoor isn’t just selling holiday homes- it’s about the lifestyle, the flexibility, and making these dream destinations a reality without the usual headaches of buying and maintaining a second home.
